Lecture - "L'Italiano: Una lingua giovane dal passato"
Italian is a rich and complex language, in which centuries or even millennia-old words and phrases co-exist alongside very modern neologisms and expressions. It is widely assumed that the younger generation has radically altered Italian with some bizarre habits. Valeria Della Valle and Giuseppe Patota, with readings by Pietro Conversano, will explain how the language's noble past survives in the present, in this lecture organised by the association Dante Alighieri Monaco.
